Hit and run

The investigation club was looking into a deadly hit and run. Seems like one of the club members is the guilty party that killed that girl. Maybe Dev?

After the last episode I feel pretty convinced that James or someone in his super rich family is responsible for the hit and run murder of Sherice Smith, and James enlisted the help of the friend group to silence Jeremy when he found out. Sherice Smith was hit by a car walking home from a football game where she was cheering that night...I wonder what high school the opposing team was from...and could it have been the high school that was mentioned on the latest podcast (the one attended by James?). I think the big reveal that James and Sophie were secretly cheating behind Jeremy's back is either true but not important, or is a complete red herring.

Dev isn't the killer. I know Dev. He was there that morning, he was at the hike, and he's been cooperative with Bill Klein throughout this. But marjklein is asking the right questions—the investigation into Sherice was real, it was active, and now we're sitting with a missing person who was researching that case when he disappeared. Someone knows what happened to Jeremy. That's what matters.

No one in this thread is talking about Dev, James. We're talking about you, your family, and the possibility that you or someone you love and want to protect could have had something to do with the death of Sherice, and that Jeremy found out about it.

James, I owe you an apology. I was pointing my finger at you and, based on the final episode of the podcast, I think I was wrong. Sorry for jumping to conclusions without all the information. I didn't mean to cause harm and I'm sorry if I did.
