On the morning of Thursday, October 15, 2020, four friends waited for Jeremy Walden at a trailhead south of Bellingham. One had declined to come; Jeremy never showed, and no one has heard from him since. His car sat outside his apartment, his phone was later found broken, and the people closest to him were investigated, but nothing amounted to a credible motive. The case went cold. In June 2026, an anonymous message asked us to look again. On July 1, we reopened it.
